Arboricultural surveys
Property owners have a duty of care to ensure that their trees do not pose a threat to the public or nearby property. Trees are dynamic living organisms, whose health and condition can be subject to rapid change, depending on a number of external and internal factors and therefore should be inspected regularly.
In carrying out a tree survey, you cannot totally eradicate the possibility of something happening but you can take certain measures to reduce that risk.
We offer an arboricultural survey service that can be carried out from either ground level or by climbing a tree for a more detailed inspection which is sometimes necessary. Please contact us for details.
Ecological surveys
Prior to work commencing, an arboriculturalist will asses the site to be worked on. Features such as watercourses are to be noted along with any potential risk of disturbing sensitive or protected species or habitats. We will carry out a basic wildlife assessment and if required, relevant actions taken with working methods and plans amended to ensure no disturbance is caused. If the assessment finds evidence of protected species then guidance will be offered in obtaining a specialist survey from a qualified and licensed ecologist.
Leicester Tree Care have close collaboration with ecology professionals Avian Ecology and BSG Ecology working on projects throughout Leicestershire and can happily arrange a survey on your behalf if required.
